Poems - The Silence Series

Silence, comes to me during extreme moments of emotions, be they pleasant or otherwise. I wrote The Silence Series over five years ago and thought to share it here at Hubpages. I move in a profession where I am able to relate with thousands of people from all walks of life dealing with “noise” that come from varied souls and Silence has become my refuge.

I never realized I was such a serious person until I became more aware of how my thoughts and feelings would run during various experiences with certain people. The awareness came with Silence. In this place of Silence I am able to hear more of the truth, see more of how my beliefs come into play in my daily existence, feel more of what I wish to achieve, and experience more of my divinity.

In Silence, inspiration and destruction coexist; duality is recognized, accepted and appreciated. No boundaries are defined for everything is part of the same field of energy, of the same realm of truth, of the same breath of life. You can choose to use silence as a weapon or a shield. The source of its power depends on the intention of its user.

Beware therefore, of the kind of silence you choose to dwell upon for it can be your salvation or damnation. Many have been trapped to believe in the silence of abuse. It is time to hear more of the silence in knowing that you are love itself, divine, and deserve all the loving abundance that exist in this beautiful awesome gift of life. You are meant to enjoy life itself. Claim your freedom to enjoy love and life. It is yours for the taking, in silence and in deep grateful appreciation. Behold the truth and celebrate silence in silence. Wink.

I used some photos I took this year and did some simple photo adjustments to express the mood of the poems and added a caption that compliments the poetry that follows. The layout I have chosen uses wide open spaces to reflect the vastness of the power of silence accented with “commercialized” portions to separate the poems, symbolize the random breaks during silence and of course to give way for financial opportunity.

The silence knows

The silence will tell

a witness

a thief

a liar

can't you tell?

a pit

a prison

a dungeon

can't you see?

a crutch

a refuge

a shelter

can't you sense?

listen….

nothing…

that is ..

something!

For though I scream loudly

You mute me

You’re there I’m sure

For though I see clearly

You blind me

You’re there no doubt

For though I feel deeply

You numb me

For once..

Be….

No longer silence….

And …

Be...
