Cartoon Jokes Humor Anyone?
82
Cartoon jokes and humor always bring me to a happy place. I could not resist doing my own take at how cartoons, (cartoon characters, cartoon comics and anything with the word "cartoon" in it) helped me define what I valued in life. That's right. Corny as it may sound I actually loved how they spoke to me of current events, of socio-political events, of human struggle, of things that are normally serious but presented in a more entertaining and amusing manner.
I will focus on the impact of printed cartoon jokes because they were my first taste of what cartoon is like. As a child, I often looked forward to reading the comic strips of the newspaper and would even fight over it with my brother. I got so amazed at how artists could summarize the impact of a world issue in one or three frames of black and white drawings.
The cartoon characters came in different forms and I loved them all because each one seemed to speak the way I did and would even think the way I did. I was fascinated. I observed that each character had some conflict they always had to face and resolve if they could. I laughed at how they dealt with things and would sometimes blurt out the words in the manner I thought went well with their faces. To say I was consumed when reading them would be an understatement.
I found some cartoon jokes online and decided to put them up here as samples of the kind of “relevant jokes” that appealed to me. I believe they are able to represent the type that teaches me values, help me check on myself and make me think as I laugh. I put in appropriate titles to enhance my point.
ANIMAL THEMED CARTOON JOKES
These jokes use animals to portray issues we humans are confronted with in normal days. The usage of animals I guess lessen the incident of feeling it's a personal attack. Grin.
